Hope

Rainbows. Hope. If you are standing looking at the rain, and the sun is behind you, shining, then you have a chance for a rainbow. I thrive on that sense of expectation that comes when hoping for a natural phenomenon like a rainbow. So every time I visit this area which I love, I always hope for a rainbow. To increase my chances, I would pour over the weather forecast and if the conditions looked right for a rainbow, I would go here and stand in the rain. After many tries, I did not give up hope. So when the rainbow came out from under the clouds on this afternoon, the excitement I felt was as vivid as those furious storm clouds in the sky.
