During the pandemic, have you ever removed your mask after a few hours and felt - “Wow fresh air, how much I missed this ?”. The art “Breath in - Breath out” is a tribute to the Amazon rainforest that provides us with that fresh air. “Breath in - Breath out” is a snapshot of the Amazon’s Vegetation Optical Depth - VOD (a measure used to estimate changes in vegetation biomass) over a decade. The animation of the is derived from the (scaled) VOD data for a period of 4 years from the paper [1]. With the hope of creating an awareness of the magnitude of destruction the rainforest has been through, the art is intended to represent the heart of the Amazonian rainforest over the past few decades. Collectors of the work would also get a GLB version of the art that can be viewed in AR and can be placed in 3D metaverses. References: [1] Boulton, C.A., Lenton, T.M. & Boers, N.
