What does the Future hodl?

Oil chalks on paper, digitally combined with a photo (of myself, in my own staircase). This is the first time, I (although blurred and only partially visible) appear in my own artworks. For my second SuperRare drop, minted on New Year 2023, I wanted to 'add myself' as a new component. The physical basis of this artwork is a round painting on paper using oil chalks. The painting was later digitalized, basic adjustments in brightness and saturation were made, and it was then combined with a photo that I took of myself in my own staircase at home. For the photo, I worked with dark blankets as the background, wore a dark blouse, lots of jewelery - and a scarf, self-crocheted and hand-made by me. The base of the crystal ball is a detail from an old wooden chest that has been in my family for generations. Proof of authenticity can be given for all parts of the artwork, if required. We are at the beginning of a new year - we do not know yet what it brings. Hopefully it allows us to live healthy and happily, experience joy and success, and embrace new chances and a lot of art. But for now, we are left to wonder: "What does the Future hodl?"
