Frontier

When travelling across Iceland I often came across these dystopian scenes where industrial architecture lives amongst the desolate volcanic landscapes. I became obsessed with these utterly contrasting places and began to document them. This photo was taken in the early hours of the morning at the Hvalfjörður Tunnel. It felt like the frontier to another world.
