Le Palais des Festivals

Le Palais des Festivals Spatial accretion drawing based on an architectural project I’ve had the chance to manage as an architect in Moatti-Riviere architectural office The accumulation of perspectives depicts the spatial memories of the architect’s vision while designing a project. As a living organism, this memory is rooted forever in my mind, and the related mental architecture keeps evolving. The architectural project on which this artwork is based was our entry to a completion for the extension of the Palais des Festivals in the city of Cannes in France. This is the place where a famous international Film Festival takes place every year. Unfortunately, this project was interrupted for several reasons and stayed an idea. I thought i should give another life to all these precise visions that were ready to be built. So I started drawing the places my mind lived in for more than one year.
