'To be filled with love'
My love affair with mother nature and her painted skies started almost a decade ago whilst walking the beach at home capturing the delicate brush strokes across the sky as they danced in front of me.
Years later I find myself on an endless search to capture these beautiful moments in some of the most incredible places on earth, including my home in New Zealand.
Here I am surrounded by magnificent mountains and glacial water filled lakes set in the most remote alpine areas.
This image from the Hakatere Conservation Reserve in the South Island of New Zealand stands as one of my favourite creations for its painterly skies which were born solely by nature. I watched in silence as the clouds formed into brush strokes and the sun dipped below the horizon releasing an array of colours I've never quite witnessed again.
It is a love that will never die and as long as I can be there to witness such incredible moments I know I will be happy forever.
