Prettier When You Smile

I cannot stand being told that I should smile more, that smiling women are prettier, that I look tired. Aren't we all? I abhor seeing women change their faces to something unrecognisable when in front of a camera. This is a silly but poignant comment on moods, facial expressions, and selfie culture. There is a time and a place for laughing, smiling, and letting yourself just look tired.
