Samurai

‘Samurai’ is a garish and ornate anti-hero avatar design, created by Clara Bacou and rendered in collaboration with Nick Scarcella, with a fusion of noble medieval Japanese armor pieces and contemporary horror influences. AR face lenses developed from this artwork were made available on both Snapchat and Instagram in January of 2021 and have currently been used online over 150,000 times.
