Flowing in circles

From above, the ocean feels infinite — a living canvas of blue and motion. But then… movement. A mother and her calf, flowing together, bound by instinct and memory. She cuts through the water with effortless grace, her body a continent of power and calm. Beside her, the calf — small, pale, learning the rhythm of the deep — keeps pace in quiet awe. Each breath they take leaves a mark on the surface, a signature of life that ripples out across time. Up here, the world goes silent. Pure calm, mixed with joy and excitement. Only the soft exhale of giants. A bond older than language, unfolding beneath a lens. I feel it — the weight of their journey, the gentleness in their strength, the way love moves even through the ocean’s vastness. They drift on, flowing through the circle of life, mother and child tracing stories that began long before us and will continue long after we’re gone. In this moment, I am not just a witness. I am part of the current. Part of their world. "Flowing in circles" is the 1/1 Companion piece available to any collector of "The circle of life" 1/15 edition, first come, first served.
