Emotionalism & Morality

Murphy, whose subject is most often herself, is inspired by feminine internet aesthetics. She uses them to draw in the viewer and then spark conversations around identity, sexuality, and body image. This piece is inspired by a quote by writer Alice Bag: "My sexuality is not an inferior trait that needs to be chaperoned by emotionalism or morality."
