Bowl Of Sand For Breakfast

I underestimated the wind. Again. What looked ok from afar turned out to be pure chaos sand ripping across the ridge lines The dunes weren’t still. They were moving. Shifting. Alive. the whole landscape was being redrawn in real time. Beautiful, but chaotic. Much like this image. The layers, lines, shadows, textures, sand swirling through the air, yet it all seems elegant and refined, like the chaos is deliberate. It was brutal and weirdly calming, I described it like having a bowl of sand for breakfast. 
 Had to grit my teeth to take this photo. So much grit.
