There has been an over arching feeling of being watched by the land in these locations, wandering through landscapes uninterrupted by humans, The have been here longer than I have, sometimes moving, mostly watching, present, patient.
Once I see it, I cant unsee. A deep sunken eye, carved into the face by time, its not threatening its just cruising, aware, holding its ground, unbothered.
A silent presence standing guard, It’s not a statue or a monument, it’s something much much older.
To show humility and respect when you are in these locations is important. My experience was very special. Thankyou.
