Dreamscapes of Rest

Featured at the Floating Pixels exhibition at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, “Dreamscapes of Rest” invites viewers on a captivating journey that unfolds the poetic narrative of chasing rest across the canvas of a day. Mirroring the diurnal cycles where the light dance as it moves through space. In this dreamy realm, the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred. Pink and red hues paint this dreamlike interior and exterior spaces, designed to evoke a sense of serenity. Nature weaves through every frame. Central to the narrative is the journey of a leaf, a delicate wanderer carried by the wind. The leaf, a metaphor for our own passage through time, dances through spaces, evading and embracing elements as it navigates the day. As the leaf completes its cyclical odyssey, the video culminates in a nocturnal sanctuary, a room where rest takes center stage. A bed, set in a pool of pillows, waits under the glow of an organic lamp that appears to bid farewell to the day as the light fades. “Dreamscapes of Rest” is a visual poem, an ode to the harmony between design and nature, culminating in a serene sanctuary where the day's journey finds its peaceful conclusion.
