La pioggia nel pineto

Glitch poetry is the practice of introducing orthographic anomalies in poems. Now and then some odd characters are introduced in the text at scattered positions, and with good probability these anomalies are arbitrarily colored. My second experiment with glitch poetry, coded in Processing language, is with an excerpt of La pioggia nel pineto written by Gabriele D'Annunzio in 1902. --- E piove su i nostri vólti -- silvani, -- piove su le nostre mani -- ignude, -- su i nostri vestimenti -- leggieri, -- su i freschi pensieri -- che l’anima schiude -- novella, -- su la favola bella -- che ieri -- m’illuse, che oggi t’illude, -- o Ermione.
