Even though my main emphasis as artist is traditional painting, I extensively use 3D-editing software to create the references for most of my artworks. This GIF is based on an animated physics simulation of a collapsing tower which I edited and rendered for my series "Dissolution of Form" (more info at http://gric.at/gallery/bild288.htm). The GIF-animation is combined with old super-8 footage, the resolution is 720x480 px /172 frames.
