Gehenna's Gate

Inspired by The Blue Exorcist manga, this piece is my personal interpretation of the Gates of Gehenna, the manga's version of Hell. I really like how this one turned out. It uses a strange gimmick in GIMP where warping the Y offset of a mosaic "opens" it up in the middle, like the iris on a stargate. I then proceeded to combine a nother Deep Styled version of the artwork with an overlay of the original, color-inverted, Weavesilk image, and voila !
