There’s no question that the north magnetic pole is shifting location and a large area of the Earth’s magnetic field between South America and Africa has decreased in strength. Does this foretell a sudden upcoming reversal of the Earth’s polarity? And if so what will that entail? While it turns out that “sudden,” in geological terms, can mean thousands of years, some conspiracy theorists believe a full pole shift, which may or may not take place, could result in cataclysmic climate events.
