The Morpholyx is a highly adaptive Æther capable of corporeal shifting. The gem embedded in its head is the core of its power.
This gem allows Morpholyx to not only shift its own form but also to reshape matter around it, bending physical objects to its will.
The Morpholyx can manipulate its appearance, becoming fluid, solid, or even ethereal if it chooses to.
In order for it to alter matter, the light from the gem has to be directly focused on the target as it cannot alter the form of anything it sees.
The Morpholyx is a highly intelligent and curious creature, it’s more interested in understanding the secrets of the universe than using its ability to align with good or evil, they’re often indifferent to most things and are usually non-violent unless it needs to defend itself.
The Gem on its head is a source of great power which often leads to this creature being hunted regularly but to no avail.
