"Sunrise, Prepare For War." Porch Collapse is a series that tries to evoke a feeling of being in a place without a defined location, into which one’s dreams and memories scramble with others'. A feeling that is mostly in the realm of intuition and outside of language and description. The use of plastic covers is intentional. They blur the sharp lines of the interior and give it a ghostly appearance. The transparent material is ethereal enough to take the form of elements such as water and air. But it can also serve as a visual representation of a veil between life and death, past and future, known and unknown.
