Dragons Back

Waiting in the fog along the remote Northwest Coast of Washington, I didn't know if it would burn off in time to glimpse the sea stacks I had hiked all this way to see. The sun went down and I could only make out the faintest outline of the distant stacks. As the tide receded, the spines of the 'Dragons Back' came into view just as nights first starts flickered into view.
