Although solar cults have largely disappeared, the scientific community remains one of the few bastions of celebration of our star’s beauty, gigantism and infinite power.
This piece depicts a young woman praying in front of the solar chromosphere, in a fascinating and very rare configuration with 5 solar flares on the sun's corona.
Using a specially adapted telescope, I observe the chromosphere in the narrow band of alpha hydrogen, with a wavelength of 656.28 nm. This unique approach has opened up previously unexplored artistic perspectives.
By capturing the solar chromosphere at a precise moment in time, the chromosphere is like fingerprints, offering the possibility of dating my work precisely to the hour in Universal Time (UTC).
Collectors will thus have in their hands a visual archive of our sun’s evolution, bearing witness to its history and timeless beauty.
