The Green Warrior

It was a Monsoon day in 2018. I was in the paddy fields in the outskirts of my small city Durgapur, India taking macro photos. I met this man named jovial Ganesh who was picking paddy saplings. He asked me about what am I doing in so much mud and filth. I started explaining him about my photography and slowly I came to know that he is from my Village and he used to play football with my father when they were young. I took his permission to take some photos of him as the frame was fantastic. I offered him money for it but he denied being my father's friend. I told him to carry on his work and I started taking photos (I replaced my macro lens with wide angle lens). While taking photo top down , I called his name and he looked up with a perfect smile and I got this amazing photo.
