The surfer is a childhood friend, Chris Ross whom I have known for over 30 years. He has also dedicated his life to searching the ocean for the craziest waves he can find to challenge his limits. Here he seems poised in the midst of Poseidon's grip, Where this wave, literally grabs you. Chris remarked on his board feeling like it was travelling backwards, But this wave, the whole ocean moves as one. and even this was just to much for one of the best to ever do it in waves of this size, resulting in a trip to hospital with bruised lungs.
