Racing For Safety

Creed Mctaggart racing for safety at "The Box" in Western Australia. Taken in 2018 this moment was featured as a double page spread in the iconic Surfing World Magazine aswell as my Surfers Journal Feature Portfolio. This is another image the exemplifies why hiding from comfort is such a perfectly fitting title for this series. This wave is treacherous. I have inspected this reef violently, my knowledge of riding the wave allows me to be so close comfortably, swimming around well over a kilometre out to sea, though truth be told out here, im pretty scared the whole time. Its so far out, im really glad when I make it back to land each time.
