We divide spaces into smaller spaces which we conquer and live in our solitude. We call that Metropolis. This artwork is created with code using custom subdivision algorithm which divides a rectangle into 9 pieces recursively. It is made up of 4,782,969 rectangles forming an abstraction of a interconnected hive like city.
