Artist Su' mostly adopted and internalized Thales' idea. (Perhaps because of the meaning of her name and her favorite thing in life is water.) According to Thales, the first matter or ARKHE that formed the universe was Water. Because he claimed that everything needs water and that if there was no water, nothing would happen. Water is the main substance that does not change but all other beings are born from and return to itself. But when Su was searching for 'ARKHE' with her art, her answer was 'BIRTH'.
