Wings of Witness

The desire to see the infinite forced a change in the flesh. Two eyes were simply insufficient for the task. A massive wing of red pupils erupted to answer the need. It is a plumage that does not catch the wind but catches the truth. The figure looks upward with a dozen unblinking stares. Gravity has lost its hold. To fly now means to perceive everything at once. The observer has become the sky.
