Monday. 10:00 AM. Leaning against a perfectly average wall. Observing. Waiting. For what? Not sure. Might be you. Might be my best friend. Might be no one at all. Now that I think about it, why am I waiting? Something feels odd. The air is thick. The birds sound wrong. I've waited too long, I forgot the reason. A phone rings. I could answer. I should answer. But I rather don’t. I like this spot. Who are you? What do you want? Want to wait with me? It’s quiet here. Strange. But nice.
