Wide Load

This image is somewhat of a testament to persistence and repetition of action, just to see what happens. This moment was created on the 30th of March 2025, without pushing myself to be out here alone I would not have witnessed nor would we have a photographical reminder of it, bringing my view what the ocean and its energy can look like. This was shot on a 35mm lense, alot wider than I normally shoot, but really captures the girth of the chamber I am standing in knee deep water, under / in. I was given a good clip around the ear as it went past could have taken my head if it wanted. Escaped out the back of the wave and swam straight in. Thankyou for the encouragement. These moments will become iconic in my journey and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to create.
