All Dressed Up

"All Dressed Up" is the debut piece of the character "Reginald Treefacé" (Pronounced Tree Fah-say). Reginald's origins are varied and dubious at best as they are all retold by him in various states of inebriation. The story he most often tells is that he was a simple tree living a simple life. He observed mankind over the generations until one day by pure happenstance, he was knocked over by a falling mechanised suit, its previous inhabitant dead. Looking for the closest pilot, the suit chose the tree and inbued it with sentience. Reginald was born. Reginald then decided to take what he observed of humanity and become the greatest human to ever exist based on his observations of what they value most: Money. Reginald took to capitalism like a sentient tree takes to capitalism; well. Whether it's bottling precious water to sell at a markup or selling out his own kind for cheap lumber, Reginald represents the truly abominable nature of humanity. Reginald has dictated the price of this piece himself.
