Judith - The age of the Aquarius is coming

According to the theories of theosophy, born from the ideas of Mme Blavatsky, in the age of the Aquarius that is approaching the woman will emancipate herself by attacking the omnipotence of the "God-male". This feminist call-to-action has been the subject of many works in the art depicting the biblical episode "Judith and Holofernes". This work of mine is a tribute to the painting by Lucas Cranach (Judith and Holofernes, 1531, oil on wood, Kunsthistorisches Muesum, Vienna). The Holofernes' head has the features of one of the current symbols of the most vulgar machismo.
