The more I create the more I realize that my ideas are tied to events that are happening in the real world. I started this piece when I first got to spring training in April. It was a lot tougher than I expected to balance baseball with art and most of the time felt like pulling teeth to come up with ideas. My brain felt fried all day. The idea for “Extraction” finally came to me and is ultimately a representation of how difficult it was fiind my creativity during the first few weeks of season.
