This artwork has been created using StyleGAN3 on MRI pictures of brains.
Artificial Intelligence is known as the science which aims at replicating human behaviour, most of which is dictated by the brain. By using AI algorithms to create a new image of a brain, we allow it to create its self-portrait.
For this artwork, we decided to give algorithms the freedom of interpreting themselves this organ they are built to replicate. Based on 4000 scans from medical imagery, GANs created a new and unique representation based on many examples of the human brain.
This artwork allows everyone to witness an AI try at portraying itself.
