Red Lily is a digital painting based on a photograph I took in 2019. The idea of the painting came from a song named "Pardon Me" by Incubus. One of the verses particularly resonated with me when I heard it the first time... (Pardon me while I burst into flames) I wanted to create something that represented that line visually. When I was asked to choose a piece to be at The Dart museum in Milan for 3 months as an NFT art piece, I thought this was a perfect fit. The Dart museum has some of the most incredible artists, Caravaggio from the baroque movement is one to highlight.
