I've been rather tired lately after work, which tends to lead to me experimenting with different settings and adjustments without really paying too much attention.
This particular piece spawned from a series of constant kaleidoscope effects applied one after another, then finally stylizing it using a number of different settings till the final version gave a strange sense of impermanence. It feels like it represents a kind of temporary state, with how the style itself has seen fit to apply layers of effects above the main centerpiece, making it fade into the background.
