The brain doesn't create faces in dreams. Every person you dream of has been someone you have either known personally or merely came across. Dreams are narratives that we visualise, experience and feel in the deep phase of sleep or REM state (rapid eye movements). Blurring the faces through the process of double exposures on film is what I do, trying to recreate visions I had in dreams, people that don’t exist yet feel familiar. Souvenirs from a past life, our dreams won’t be televised.
