Dust

Everyday at dusk a silence sets in. I have goosebumps. Am I awake or in a dream? There is such an overwhelming feeling of emptiness. I am calm. Maybe this peacefulness only exists because none of this is real. How does an experience not exist if I can feel it? The walls around me have turned to dust.
