Witchcraft is a term that refers to the use of magic or supernatural abilities. Accused witches were usually women who were thought to have communed with evil beings in medieval times. The concept of witchcraft and belief in its existence has persisted throughout recorded history. Most societies believe that some people have the ability to harm others in a supernatural way. When I'm on my daily walk, I sometimes wonder if there is a modern-day witch with such powers living a secret life nearby. I can almost sense her being around me at times, like a cold breeze in the air passing me by. I quickly look up, but there is no one there again but the wind, and I keep walking. I think that I have been under her spell for a long time.
