When creating this piece i was inspired by a Lupe Fiasco Lyric
"Your child's future was the first to go with budget cuts, If you think that hurts, then wait, here comes the uppercut. The school was garbage in the first place, that's on the up and up"
I believe when you see children out in the real world, the one thing that would empower them the most is seeing themselves in a position where they can achieve anything their hearts or minds dreams of. This is beyond education. It is changing the cycle of what we need our youth to be surrounded by.
We don't want the hurdles removed because we asked, just a fair race to prove that we can do it.
