The wheel of time.
The clock starts ticking before we take our first breath.
Life ticks by,
slower at first,
then quickens,
and slows once more.
I witnessed my mother come to terms with her mortality and die too soon. Now I live with the constant awareness of the ticking clock, wondering when my time, and the time of those I love, will be up.
This is composited photography (many shots combined into one), and is entirely lit, composed, shot and edited by Victoria.
Created in January & Feb 2022, the still version scored an Excellence in the 2022 Professional Photographers of Canada Image Competition.
