A vampire is a mythical creature that survives by consuming the vital essence of the living. Vampires have been documented in cultures all over the world.
Local variants in Eastern Europe were called "shtriga" in Albania, "vrykolakas" in Greece, and "stigoi" in Romania, among other names. Vampires in modern works of fiction are photosensitive, and when an existing vampire bites a human, he transforms them into a new vampire and grants them eternal life. If the creature does not drain their blood, then it will "drink" them to death. According to certain traditions, a vampire must be invited by the owner or else can not enter a house. When I walk at night on the streets of the city, I often wonder about the creatures of the night. As if I was one of them, seeking and feeding restlessly on vital essence in the form of art and showing my works either their final fate by erasing them or lending them immortality as a result of the creating process. Then, upon returning home hungry, I invite myself to my studio again. When I walk in, the room is empty. In my silence, I check my pulse and I tend to hear my blood flowing through my veins. I sit in front of my desk, then feel a cold breeze, and the feast begins once more.
