About "Goodbye, My Love: A ReGenesis"
This piece was created as part of the Brutalist Mannequin series (epr.is/brutalist). A 12-piece collection about the end of the 12-year relationship with my wife. However, It remained unminted and untitled until this moment in 2022.
In 2020, I separated from my wife and was also unceremoniously removed from SuperRare. But life is strange and beautiful.
Two years later, my ex-wife and I are exploring a new path forward, together, again. And earlier this year the $RARE community voted to reinstate me to the platform.
Not coincidentally, today is the 2nd anniversary of being removed from
SuperRare. It's also very close to the 10th anniversary of our marriage.
Given the parallels between my personal life and my art life, it seems appropriate to mint this particular piece on SuperRare closing these chapters together with an eye toward a fulfilling future where I will create more art, connect with more people, learn new things, and playing more sports (again). This is my ReGenesis point.
