In their place, venture capitalists in headsets, sleepwalking through the apocalypse they funded, mouths stitched shut by quarterly returns. The image is glitching not due to error, but revelation. Truth here is not clean, it is corrupted, smeared like paint over data, the residue of thought drowning in simulation. His identity fractures under the weight of the mask, which promises vision but delivers only compliance. The real horror is not surveillance, it’s participation. He is not trapped. He chose this.
