Voyagers of the Ocean Valentines Breach

On this beautiful day of 2/14 we watched Humpback Whales breach. My love is all of Nature so the day seem fitting. To articulate this emotion is hard. I feel like I am in a land of my own. Whales are on of the authentic creatures in all of the Ocean. They come to Hawaii to give birth and solely that. No feeding is done here. The mother must swim 8000 miles to give birth while she cannot eat this entire journey. She feeds the baby whale her milk in which is stored in her this entire voyage. Teaching the baby how to swim and navigate as they are born. One of the main reason this has been happening for thousands of years is for the water temps. Baby Humpbacks cannot be born in cold water or they will not survive. They need to build up fat before returning to Alaska. Once they are ready the voyage home takes a month. Yes they spend 4 months in Hawaii for a baby fest. And one of the greatest experience is us watching it all unfold. Voyagers of the Ocean
