Overconsumption

As I’m writing this over 778 billion plastic bags have been produced since the start of 2020. While I understand that the responsibility to come up with safer alternatives fall upon the businesses producing plastic, as individuals we should be considerate with how much waste we produce. Global pollution is intensified with overconsumption.------------------------- Information: This artwork is part of ‘Earth series’ a collection of artworks focusing on pollution, overconsumption and wastefulness. After production costs are recovered, the remaining profit will be donated the ‘The ocean clean up’ a charity focused on removing 90% of plastic pollution from our oceans.
