FLICK was originally created as part of my collection with the American Pop Art collective in NYC. The collective was created by fine artist Steve Kaufman and his assistant Diana Vachier. However, the importance of this piece goes beyond being in a fancy New York art group. I created this piece by taking an image on my phone of an old painting and then digitally drawing the skeleton on top of the painting. I decided I liked the skeleton enough to paint it on top of the piece. The first and only time I really made a painting digitally then finished it with actual paint.
