Spiritual Abstraction

This piece has to do with spirituality, the juxtaposition of straight and curved lines and their integration in the whole has to do with the spiritual work (the individual/introspection) and achieving entry into the stream (the realisation that all forms, including one’s self are actually not separate but just one whole) and the paradox that we can be both individuals and indivisible at once. The work wraps around seamlessly on the horizontal. It was made for playback on SuperRare’s “Monolith”, a huge box with screens on four sides. The work is a box shaped cut-out of a 4D mathematical structure, where the fourth dimension is time. The work loops seamlessly in time. It works fine on a regular displays as well.
