The Sator Square is a word square containing a five-word Latin palindrome: SATOR AREPO TENET OPERA ROTAS. The text may be read top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, left-to-right, or right-to-left; and it may be rotated 180 degrees and still be read in all those ways.
The artwork arose after watching Tenet by Christopher Nolan and was tokenized one night at the foot of the erupting Stromboli. A collaboration blending generative art (hex6c) and glitch art (altered data).

The generative artwork was rendered into .mp4 through a glitch script. The #postglitch clip was encoded into .avi with FFmpeg using as codec FFV1, imported into Audacity and interpreted as sound. Post-audio editing exported and encoded back into .mp4. The sound is the original data of the generative artwork exported as .tif and interpreted as sound and exported as .wav.
