I grew up playing Super Mario and he, along with many other video game characters, was an icon of my childhood. Now that I'm older, I spend less time playing games and more time listening to music and so my icons have changed to pop stars, most notably Post Malone. This piece represents my transition from games to music. Post Mario has a double meaning, on the one hand it is the combination of Post Malone and Super Mario and on the other hand "post" means I've moved on from Mario.
