There’s a stage we reach in life where we start to realize our innocence is “gone.” We may have began to realize that we lost that childlike innocence ages ago. However, times of innocence seem to flutter by in adulthood.
As I looked back on my childhood, I realized I had shed that childhood innocence at a very young age. This piece is an exploration of the loss of pure innocence in my life. The inner child locked inside me, wanting to explore, to create, to be free.
